African owned businesses contribute immensely to the United States economy.  In spite of this fact, they are grossly by passed for Government contracting and small business financing opportunities.

This practice occurs at the County, State and Federal levels. Access to capital for business development and growth are very rare to come by.  Banking industry put up rigorous eligibility requirements for small business loan qualification thereby, making it almost impossible to get needed financing despite the best effort and honest business plan.  These factors over the years have become major impediment to the growth of African owned businesses in United States, resulting in incessant and unavoidable failures.
